Shagun - Bhavini Gheravara

Shagun features over 70 traditional Indian mehndi bridal designs, most providing full fingertip-to-forearm coverage. Peacocks, bride and groom, and a wide range of Indian musical instruments are featured in these designs. It is an excellent book for artists of all levels to go to for inspiration, but we feel it will be most beneficial to advanced intermediate artists who are seeking to better understand the layout and motifs of traditional Indian bridal henna without having to pay particularly strong attention to advanced shading and line weight elements.

We're pretty sure that Bhavini Gheravara is not quite as famous or popular in the US as Asha Savla due to unfortunate minor printing errors like on the cover of this book. Her work is just as stunning!
