Artistic Adornment's lavender essential oil is USDA Certified Organic and grown domestically in the USA. It has less than 0.25% (much, much less than 1%) camphor, so that it meets even the most careful and selective henna artists' standards for safety.
Our lavender is lavandula angustifolia, or true lavender - the type that has become so popular with henna artists for its reputation for being both safe and pleasantly scented. Lavandula Angustifolia is the same variety of lavender as the fine Bulgarian and French lavenders, but is grown right here in the US, so domestic customers can be happy to know they are supporting our local economy and lowering their carbon foot print as compared to purchasing imported lavender.
Our lavender essential oil is, of course steam distilled.
These 1oz bottles of Lavender Essential Oil are perfectly sized to mix with 100 grams of henna powder for a standard batch. Like all of our essential oils and are shipped in a light blocking amber glass bottle. Store in a cool, dark place for up to one year.
