Reactions to this scent have included:
"What I imagine it would smell like inside a very special bookstore or opium den."
"A very decadent hippy creamsicle."
*huge smile* "Wow, that's so nice!"
"I wear this every day now. Every. Day."
It is noticeable, but not overwhelming. People, including strangers, may indeed comment and tell you you smell nice. This might be weird at first, but you'll get used to it. It may even inspire you to up your self-presentation game on other fronts as well. People who have taken to wearing this scent regularly have been known to go through their old wardrobes and find that their long-forgotten favorite pieces look fabulous on them, start a brand new hair care routine, and more. We're not saying that will necessarily happen for you...but it has for others.
This perfume oil was conceived of by friends H&J in a fit of inspiration while watching arty movies together. Having taken a perfumery class with a French-trained master perfumier in the past, sourced the highest quality essential oils for henna for decades, enjoyed many a fancy candle / soap / henna blend / etc over the years, and worked in high-end retail and customer service, together they were well-prepared to move forward with their notion to create a custom perfume for their own enjoyment, with a few extra bottles to share with others who may share their tastes. Demand quickly outpaced supply, as they shared it with only those observant enough to inquire about it directly. They are pleased to have sourced the necessary materials to share their signature scent on a larger scale.
This perfume is comprised 100% of various fragrance oils, with even its base oil contributing to its complex scent profile. The bottle is made of glass and metal, with just the teensy tiniest amount of plastic necessary to ensure a tight seal.
This is not an essential oil for mixing henna. You could technically use it in your henna paste, as all the ingredients are skin safe, but it would not work as a terp.
